My Top 5 Favorite Vegan Blogs

When I first decided to go vegan, one of the first things I did was look up vegan blogs. I also looked at numerous blogs for inspiration before starting up my own. These are a few of my favorite blogs that I continue to visit. I don’t cook very often since I currently live in a dorm. But when I do cook, I usually visit these blogs to find recipes.  

1. Minimalist Baker 

Dana is a masterful cook who has some amazing and unique recipes on her blog. The best part? Every recipe requires only 10 ingredients or less and no longer than 30 minutes to prepare. I’m not the most talented cook (i’m working on it!) so being able to use recipes that are simple and timely to prepare are crucial! Visit her blog here

2. The Vegan 8

Are you starting to see a trend here? Brandi’s blog is dedicated to great plant based recipes that require 8 ingredients or less. This is another blog I have visited regularly to find mouth watering recipes. Just one visit to the blog and you will find a wide variety of recipes that look delicious. 3. No Meat Athlete

As I have mentioned in previous posts, I am a big fan of No Meat Athlete. Matt Frazier is an ultra marathon runner and vegan of course. There are some great recipes along with some helpful tips for vegan athletes. This isn’t a traditional blog, but it is a website I visit frequently for helpful plant based advice! 4. Rich Roll

Similar to No Meat Athlete, Rich Roll is an ultra marathon runner and iron man who is powered by plants. His blog has some great information on how to compete at the highest level while eating a plant based diet. He also has some inspirational books on his journey throughout life. 5. Nutrition Facts

Dr. Michael Greger’s website which is dedicated to providing up to date scientific information on food probably deserves a higher spot on this list. This website has extremely valuable information on new studies as well as years of studies about diets and what is considered healthy by the medical world. I have learned so much from this website, the videos are incredibly helpful and Dr. Greger is doing a real service by providing this information for anyone to find. You can visit the website here
